Privacy Policy

Mainline Group LLC ("Mainline Group LLC," "we," "our") is a Virginia limited liability company operating the Drive Lane vehicle access program in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. This Privacy Policy applies to the Drive Lane public website and to information collected during the application, screening, and ongoing program participation.

We collect information you provide directly — name, contact details, date of birth, address and proof of address, ZIP code, driver's license number, license state and expiration, employment and rideshare-platform status, platform screenshots and approval records, and self-attested driving history. During screening we obtain motor vehicle records (MVR), identity verification metadata, and background-check results from third-party vendors. During the rental relationship we collect signed agreement records, payment status and transaction records, vehicle handoff and return photos and videos, accident, claim, citation, toll, impound, and incident records, and communications by SMS, email, phone, forms, or support channels. While a vehicle is in your possession, we collect telematics data — location, mileage, trip history, speed indicators, diagnostics, device status, geofence entry/exit, and event flags — through the installed GPS device.

Information is used to evaluate your application, decide vehicle assignment, document handoff and return, monitor compliance with the Drive Lane agreement, process weekly auto-pay, recover assets in cases of default, and meet legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal information.

We share information with vendors and service providers strictly for the purposes above, including: Stripe (payments), Stripe Identity (identity verification), Checkr (background and MVR screening), Bouncie (GPS and telematics), Supabase (database and storage), DocuSeal (electronic signatures), and our email and CRM providers. We share with insurance brokers, carriers, and claims administrators when reasonably required, with legal, accounting, collections, or recovery vendors as needed, and with law enforcement, courts, or regulators when compelled by lawful process or required for claims, safety, fraud prevention, or vehicle recovery. We may share aggregated, de-identified data with current and prospective business partners. We do not sell personal information.

When you provide a phone number and consent, you may receive operational SMS messages — application updates, pickup scheduling, payment notices, vehicle alerts. Standard message and data rates apply. Reply STOP to opt out of non-essential SMS; safety and account-critical messages may continue. Reply HELP for help.

Drive Lane vehicles are equipped with GPS devices for asset protection, mileage accounting, and program compliance. By participating in Drive Lane you consent to continuous telematics collection while the vehicle is in your possession.

We may retain driver, account, rental, screening, claim, payment, and vehicle records for up to 7 years after account closure, final rental activity, claim resolution, dispute resolution, or final payment, whichever is later, unless a longer or shorter period is required by law, insurance, litigation hold, audit, tax, or business need. Telematics records are retained on a rolling basis consistent with the program agreement.

You may request access to or correction of your personal information by contacting privacy@mainlinegroup.co. Some data — for example, MVR results obtained from a state agency — must be requested directly from the source.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No transmission or storage system is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated to active program participants. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

We use Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking, and PostHog product analytics to measure how visitors interact with this site and to attribute responses to our advertising. These tools may set cookies and collect device, browser, IP-derived location, and page-interaction data. We do not use them to read or share your application content. You can opt out for this device using the button in the next section, or by enabling browser-level tracking protections.
